  • COMBINED BIKE AND CANOE TOUR

    The bike ride starts from the Resort Mark Brandenburg. The canoes are situated less than 4 kilometres away, through the historic city park. Once you’ve arrived at the boats, canoe down the Alten Rhin stream to Lake Ruppin – a real highlight for bird lovers! After around an hour on the lake, you will head back to the small tributary and canoe back to the bikes feeling totally serene.

  • WALKING TOURS OF THE LOCAL TOWN

    Neuruppin is full of impressive examples of Prussian architecture and has plenty for visitors to discover during a 1.5-hour walking tour. You will encounter novelist Theodor Fontane, who was born in Neuruppin, as well as the great architect of classicism, Karl Friedrich Schinkel. The night walks by torchlight, which also include a sample of liqueur from the monastery, are a particular treat.
