The Blütenviertel Caputh multi-generational neighbourhood is being developed in the municipality of Schwielowsee, close to Potsdam and Berlin, in the village of Caputh – once Albert Einstein’s summer retreat. It is a diverse neighbourhood bringing together living, flexible working, business, health and community in one place.

At Coworking Blütenviertel Caputh, work can feel like a second home. Our facilities include:

1 private office
4 fixed desks and 2 flex desks
1 small meeting room for 2 people
1 large meeting room for 10 people, with capacity for up to 20 if required, equipped with TV, presentation kit, whiteboard and flipchart
3 quiet lounge areas with armchairs and sofas
1 shared kitchen with lounge area

Talks, Workshops & Events

Three different event and presentation spaces are available for meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, presentations and events. Presentation kits, whiteboards and flipcharts are available:

Small presentation room: seating for up to 40 people
Cinema-style presentation room: a unique atmosphere across 55 m², seating up to 26 people
Large presentation room: 193 m² with an outdoor staircase, projector and screen, and seating for up to 120 people

The BlütenHaus

A new addition to our neighbourhood is the BlütenHaus, featuring 20 rental apartments and 10 holiday apartments.

DUCAH – “Living Better, Longer, Together”

Together with the Berlin-based research centre DUCAH – Digital Center for Aging & Health, we developed a white paper concept for age-friendly, inclusive and independent living with complementary services, guided by the idea of “Living Better, Longer, Together.” The concept explores how housing, community, health and supportive services can be meaningfully connected.

ENERGY CAMPUS CAPUTH – Living Lab & Education Campus

With the Energy Campus Caputh (ECC), Blütenviertel Caputh also serves as a living lab and education campus for the energy and heating transition. Curated specialist seminars and events are offered here for the housing sector, municipalities and interested members of the public.

Together with more than 16 strong network partners in the international ZIM innovation network SDKW – focusing on the control and digitalisation of municipal (low-temperature) heating networks – we aim to further develop innovations, bring them into practical application more quickly and shape the energy future together.
